Definition of an Emergency
Definition of an emergency is a plumbing
leak, roof leak, gas leak, no heat, no A/C (but only if you have health problems
or elderly).
Ø
Plumbing Leak:
Shut the water off either under the sink that is leaking or at the toilet that is
leaking, or shut the main off, put a container under the sink to eliminate damage
to the cabinet. Call the plumber on
your subcontractor list; also let them know how long the leak has been present.
Ø
Roof Leak:
Call the roofer, protect all personal property by moving it or cover with plastic. If it is raining, the roofer cannot
get on the roof at that time, but they will return to make the repairs.
Please contact Adams & Marshall Homes if you have drywall damage.

Gas Leak: Contact the Gas
Company, Adams & Marshall Homes and the appropriate plumber that is on your
subcontract list and leave the house.
Ø No Heat: Check the breaker
box, check the thermostat to make sure it is set properly, check the power switch
on the furnace, make sure that the gas valve at the furnace is set on open (red
knob), check the filter, make sure the blower is on properly.
Call the HVAC company on your vendor list.

No Air Conditioning (A/C):
Check the breaker box; check the thermostat for proper setting.
Call the HVAC company on your vendor list.
